The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms. J. Jayalalitha has cancelled four percent Value Added Tax on LPG cylinder in the State. In a press release on Tuesday, Ms. Jayalalitha announced the decision and said that this would amount to a reduction of 14.73 rupees per cylinder. This will be implemented from July first.
