<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin assured the devotees of the Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai that the walkway around the temple called the "Girivalam Path" will be developed further. He gave away benefits of various development schemes, laid foundation stones for different projects and dedicated the completed projects for public use at the temple town yesterday. In his address, he said the "Girivalam Path" extends to a perimeter of 14-kilometers around the temple, which falls under the city municipality and four other rural local bodies. As the local bodies are suffering funds shortage, Mr Stalin said the state Hindu Religious Endowments Department would work with the local bodies to jointly develop the walkway and to provide basic amenities to the devotees.<br />''<br />''The Girivalam Path is being used by the thousands of people from across the country who visit the temple devoted to Agni, who walk around it as a way of paying their obeisance.<br />''<br />''Mr Stalin in his address said the elevated road project connecting Chennai Madhuravoyal with the city port will be taken up very soon.
