Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy has announced solatium to the families of the victims of landslide near Munnar in Kerala.<br />''<br />''In a statement, Mr Palaniswamy has said three lakh rupees each would be given to the families of those who died in the disaster and one lakh rupees each to those grievously injured from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.<br />'' <br />''He has noted that the victims were mostly people of Tamil Nadu origin who are settled with their families as tea estate workers.<br />'' <br />''He has said a rescue team from the state led by the District Revenue Officer of neighbouring Theni in Tamil Nadu, is assisting the relief works by camping there from the 7th of this month.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The August 6 landslide in the Rajamala Pettimudi Division of Nayamakad Estate claimed more than fifty lives while the search is on for the missing.</span><br />
