Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has announced five lakh rupees financial aid to the five athletes who were selected to participate in the Tokyo Olympics.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In a statement released yesterday, the Chief Minister said, S. Arokya Rajiv and Naganathan Pandi were selected for 4×400 metres men's relay and Revathi Veeramani, Suba Venkatesan and Dhanalakshmi Sekar were selected for the 4x 400 metre mixed relay team.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Arokya Rajiv was given special training and sponsorship by the State Sports Development Authority. Suba Venkatesan was given special training to participate in international games. Already six sports persons namely Netra Kumanan, K. C. Ganapathy, G. Satyan, Sarath Kamal, Varun Thakkar, Bavani Devi and Mariappan already a Paralympic Champion who will be participating again from the state were given five lakh rupees on behalf of the State Government.</span><br />
