<span style="color: #222222;">Tamilnadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin announced an ex gratia of Rs.25 lakhs to the family of the woman police constable Kavitha who was killed when a large tree fell inside the State Secretariat at Fort St.George due to heavy rains today. The Chief Minister also paid last respects to her this afternoon. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The ex gratia of the wounded police personnel K.Murugan and  fire safety personnel S. Senthilkumar  has also been increased to Rs. five lakh. The Regional Met department has announced widespread rains in many districts for the next three days.</span><br />
