In Tamil Nadu,  Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy inaugurated the pulse polio immunisation at his residence in Chennai today. The camps will function till five pm in the evening. The Government aims to administer polio vaccine to more than seventy lakh children under five years of age in more than 43 thousand camps today. Camps are set up at Primary health centres, government hospitals, schools, airports, rail and bus stations and also at malls. COVID-19 guidelines are followed in all the camps.
