The speaker of the Tamil Nadu Assembly Mr. Jayakumar on Thursday said that discussions on the Budget which was presented would be held till the 12th of this month. He also told that discussions on subsidiary grant of the various departments would be held till September 14th.Reacting to the revised Budget which was presented on Thursday, the former Chief Minister and DMK Chief Mr. M. Karunanidhi said that there is nothing new in the budget MDMK Chief Mr.Vaiko said that there is not enough action to meet out the Electricity demands of the State.The CPI State Secretary Tha pandian welcomed the budget. The State Congress President Mr. Thangabaalu said that the state government’s schemes in coordination with the central government schemes will go a long way in benefiting the common man.
