In his speech, the Governor said that the State was in the forefront of development in all sectors. He said that all the languages of all the States should be considered as official languages. The Governor in his speech listed out the various steps taken by the Centre and the State to solve people's issues. Stalin brought a resolution relaxing Assembly rule No 17, and stated the Speech read by the Governor had certain added portions and skipped certain portions of the printed English Version which was given to the members of the Assembly.<br />''<br />''A resolution was adopted that the printed version of the Governor's speech in English may be kept on record of the Assembly.
