In Tamil Nadu, the COVID-19 curve continues its downward movement for the past several weeks. The active caseload of patients yesterday came down further to 26,356. The number of new cases also dipped to 2,516 including 685 in Chennai. He said, it may hamper the efforts in controlling the pandemic and asked all concerned to ensure compliance on the safety protocol.
