In Tamil Nadu, approximately 4 lakh eight thousand people have been vaccinated against Covid19 so far. Over 5,800 senior citizens and 5197 people aged between 45 to 59 with co morbidities got their jabs in the state till yesterday. The State held 1222 sessions of the vaccination on the first day of phase 2 of the National Vaccination drive in private and public.<br />''<br />''On Monday, 7588 health care providers and 4789 frontline workers took the vaccine. More than 20 thousand people got vaccinated at Government hospitals on Monday. All other districts reported less than 25 cases and 24 of them reported cases in single digits.
