<span style="color: #222222;">In Tamil Nadu, seventeen new cases of Covid-19 have been reported today, taking the total number of patients to 67. This is the biggest ever single-day count of the COVID-19 positive cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic. Ten of the newly confirmed cases are from Erode, who had travelled with the two Thai nationals from Delhi to Erode.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Thai citizens have been admitted into the Perundurai Medical College Hospital in Erode earlier. Four other people from Chennai including a 15-year old girl are the relatives of a person with travel history to the US. They are in a private hospital in the city.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A new case from Madurai is also a family contact of another patient. A 42-year old lady from Kulitthalai has a travel history to Delhi and is admitted in a hospital at Karur. The other patient is a 50-year old lady from Broadway in Chennai whose travel history is yet to be known.</span><br />
