Talks with insurgents in the North East is going on to bring them in the national mainstream. Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said this in the Rajya Sabha today. Answering questions he said the Centre is keen to integrate them. The Centre and the Assam Government have suspended operations against the ULFA faction favoring talks, NDFB Progressive, NDFB (RD) and KLNLF. <br/><br/> Also, the Assam Government has ceased operations against many other splinter groups of insurgents to motivate them for talks. The Minister said, camps have been set up for their cadres where each individual is presently given three thousand rupees for maintenance.
