Talks & terror can't go hand in hand: Vikas Swarup

India today reiterated that talks and terror can't go hand in hand. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, the environment has to be terror free for talks between India and Pakistan. <br/><br/>He said, MEA had summoned Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner yesterday on continuous violation of ceasefire across the Line of Control. <br/><br/>Mr Swarup said, Pakistan constantly violated the ceasefire at least 27 times from 12th to 21st November despite calls for restraint. He said, India also protested the deliberate targeting of civilians and property by Pakistan army in villages along the Line of Control. <br/><br/>He said, New Delhi also conveyed its concerns at continued attempts to infiltrate armed terrorists from across the LoC and during last week, there were 15 instances. Mr Swarup said, internationalizing Kashmir issue has found no takers and Pakistan should first end state support to terrorism.
