UN Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-moon today said talks on climate change were moving too slowly and told countries to see how everyone can contribute to the greater good of curbing the menace instead of demanding concessions from others. Addressing the Climate Change conference at the United Nations today he said that instead of demanding concessions from others it would be better to contribute to the greater good. He called for ambitious emission reduction targets from industrialised countries by 2020 and action by developing countries to limit the growth of their emissions while they grow substantially.
