Talks are going on between India and Mauritius to revise the Double Taxation Avoidance Convention to check the possibility of treaty abuse and round tripping. A Joint Working Group, which was set up for the purpose, held ten meetings until last year. Giving this information in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the eleventh meeting was held in New Delhi between 29th of June and 1st of July this year to discuss all outstanding issues. Now, the talks are in an advanced stage.
