Union Commerce and Industries Minister Mr Anand Sharma today said that talks with the Japan government are on the advanced stage on the negotiation of a Comprehensive Economic Agreement. Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the two-day "The Partnership Summit" organized by the Confederation of Indian industry, he said a similar agreement will be signed with Malaysia. He reiterated that the inclusion of Japan and China market in the Focus Market Scheme announced recently would help doubling India's exports by 2020. On the Free Trade Agreements with ASEAN countries, he said steps have been taken to expand it to services and investments.
