Taliban take control of Ghazni province in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, Taliban overran a district in Ghazni province occupying government buildings and capturing police officers after an intense gunfight. The Afghan police chief said Government offices in Khogyani district were taken over by the Taliban. He did not give any information on casualties. Meanwhile Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid has said all the police guarding the district headquarters were killed or captured. He said right now we control the district and added that weapons and vehicles of government forces have been seized.
