In Pakistan, Taliban killed four persons in the north-west of the country for alleged spying for the United States. Residents found four bullet-ridden bodies dumped on the road in North Waziristan tribal region and informed the police. Notes written in native Pushto language attached to the bodies, said that the men were punished for spying for the US troops in Afghanistan. The Taliban claimed that the alleged spies passed on information about the hideouts of its militants in Pakistan's tribal belt to the US troops leading to drone strikes.
