In Afghanistan, two foreign soldiers and a district governor were killed in separate incidents in eastern and southern Afghanistan today in attacks by Taliban. NATO said in separate statements that one of its soldiers died in a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan while another got killed in a militant attack in the eastern region.Meanwhile, the governor of Shewak district in the eastern province of Paktia Ali Abad was killed when a roadside bomb hit his vehicle while he was driving to work. Zabiullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, claimed responsibility for the bombing. President Hamid Karzai condemned the killing terming it as deplorable. Also, nine civilians including women and children were injured when a bomb in a motorbike detonated in front of police headquarters in Badghis province.
