Afghan and NATO-led forces have captured a Taliban facilitator along with several suspected insurgents during a joint security operation in the southern Kandahar province. In a statement, the International Security Assistance Force on Wednesday said the targeted individual is an intelligence operative responsible for providing direction in the form of site selection and target sets for the suicide bombers who reportedly came into Kandahar city from Chaman city of Pakistan. It said the combined forces continue efforts to deny sanctuary to terrorists in the area. Taliban militants have yet to make comments on the capture of the insurgents.
