Addressing after inaugurating project "Heartland Tripura" in Agartala today along with Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik, Mr. Chandrasekhar said the project will hugely benefit the students in finding their career pathways.<br />''</span><br />''The project, Heartland Tripura, is a skill development initiative in collaboration with Deloitte and the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). Mr. Chandrasekhar further said that, India is becoming highest job creator country in the world. He said, the northeast region which was among the backward regions in the country is now being physically connected with other parts of the country through railways, airways and highways. <br />''<br />''Besides, digital connectivity has also bridged the gap of mainland India with the northeast region.  He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought in a revolution in physical connectivity to such an extent in northeast so much so that there is no difference in connectivity issue when compared to Bangalore, Delhi or Mumbai.  He also said that Prime Minister has decided to ensure that till 2025 each and every village of the northeast has 4G internet connectivity.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, it is necessary to be skilled, but apart from this, digital skills are also imperative post-Covid situation. Heartland Tripura is being implemented by Deloitte in association with NIELIT, Agartala with the support of the Government of India and the Government of Tripura. The project will deliver a specific set of skill development certification courses through NIELIT-Agartala for the state. Select professionals will also have the opportunity to be selected in internships, which could lead to promising job prospects after they successfully complete the certification and internship requirements. </span><br />
