World champion Viswanathan Anand played out another insipid draw with former challenger Vladimir Kramnik of Russia in the fifth round of Tal Memorial International chess tournament now underway in Moscow . With his fifth draw on the trot, Anand remained on a 50 percent score in the strongest tournament of the year and remained on the joint fifth spot. For the second day running, all the games ended in draws.At present, the lead positions remain unchanged with Aronian, Carlsen, Karjakin and Nepomniachtchi remaining at the helm with 3 points in their kitty. Anand, Ivanchuk and Svidler share the fifth spot— half a point behind. Kramnik and Nakamura are following on their heels with two points apiece. Gelfand remained at the bottom of the table on One and a half points.Four rounds are still to come in the super-tournament.
