Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today exhorted Chief Ministers of Congress ruled states to take concrete steps to tackle corruption and control inflation. Mr. Gandhi said, this while speaking at the ongoing meeting in New Delhi with senior party leaders and Chief Ministers of 12 congress ruled states. Today's meeting is the first major poll exercise after the recent Assembly elections.

The day-long exercise that began this morning is being attended by Congress Chief Ministers along with senior party leaders A K Antony, Sushilkumar Shinde, P. Chidambaram, Ahmed Patel, Jairam Ramesh, Digvijay Singh, Janardan Dwivedi, Kapil Sibal and K V Thomas. Our correspondent has the details.
