Maldives has said that India should take the lead in green power revolution to combat climate change . In an exclusive interview with our correspondent Sarita Brara the Malidives President Mohammed Nasheed said that India has the social strength, the moral authority as well as the capacity to take on the challenge.Stressing the need for peaceful Indian ocean in the wake of increasing numbers of incidents of sea piracy as well terrorism taking the route of sea , Mohammed Nasheed said that there is a room for common policy to deal with it.Describing the problem of Islamic fundamentalisn in his country as serious , the Maldives President said that his Government is trying to deal with it.
