Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take immediate action for the release all the fishermen arrested by the Srilankan Navy including the six people apprehended yesterday night. In a letter, she has said even before the promised release of the 86 people who were arrested earlier, the fresh arrest has happened and has asked for taking concerted actions to find a long-lasting solution.
