President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in New Delhi this afternoon after visiting Kochi. The visiting dignitary is on a five day visit to India from 14th of this month. This is the sixth visit of President Rahmon to India.<br/><br/>President Rahmon will have meetings with the Indian leadership including President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. <br/><br/>The President of India will host a banquet tomorrow for the visiting President. Bilateral relations span cooperation in a wide spectrum of areas – political, economic, health, human resources development, defence, counter-terrorism, science and technology, culture and tourism.
