In Badminton, India's Parupalli Kashyap advanced to the quarterfinals of the Taipei Open badminton while Priyanshu Rajawat, Mithun Manjunath, and Kiran George crashed out in the men's singles second round. Third seed Kashyap defeated Chia Hao Lee of Chinese Taipei 21-10, 21-19 in a match that lasted 36 minutes.

Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto defeated Cheng Kai Wen of Chinese Taipei 21-14, 21-17 to reach the mixed doubles quarterfinals.
