The first meeting of the 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration Committee of Ravindra Nath Tagore headed by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is now in progress in New Delhi. The Committee will finalise the year-long programme of the celebrations in the country and abroad. The UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna, CPIM leader Sitaram Yechury, Dr. Karan Singh, Film personality Adoor Gopalakrishnan are among other personalities attending the meeting. <br/>
