BWF World Championships: Lakshya Sen enters Men's Singles Pre Quarters in Copenhagen, Denmark

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen has entered Men's Singles Pre Quarters of BWF Badminton World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark. Lakshya defeated South Korea's Jeon Hyeok-jin in the second round of the competition 21-11, 21-12 this evening. In another Men's Singles second round match, HS Prannoy will take on C.A. Dwi Wardoyo in a short while from now. PV Sindhu lost to Nozomi Okuhara in the second round of Women's Singles 14-21, 14-21.

Ashwini Ponnappa and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy enter mixed doubles quarterfinal of World Badminton Championships in China

In World Badminton Championships, the pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy advanced to the Mixed Doubles' quarter-final round at Nanjing in China today. Ponnappa and Rankireddy defeated Malaysian team of Shevon Jemie Lai and Goh Soon Huat 20-22, 21-14, 21-6.
