Women’s World Cup Football: Japan reaches quarters after win over Norway

Japan continued their impressive form at the Women’s World Cup Football to advance to the quarter-finals. They knocked out Norway with a 3-1 win in Wellington, New Zealand.   In an earlier game, Spain reached the Women’s World Cup quarter-finals for the first time with a commanding 5-1 win over Switzerland.

India beat Bangladesh by 110 runs in the women's world cup at Seddon Park in Hamilton. Batting first, India scored 229 runs in the stipulated overs for the loss of  7 wickets. Women's World Cup, New Zealand beat India by 62 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton

In the  ICC Women's World Cup, New Zealand defeated India by 62 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton today. Chasing a victory target of 261 runs, India were all out at 198 runs in 46.4 overs. Harmanpreet Kaur with 71, captain Mithali Raj 31, and Yastika Bhatia 28 were the top scorers for India.   India's Jhulan Goswami became the joint-highest wicket-taker in Women's ODI World Cups. Women's World Cup: New Zealand beat Bangladesh in rain-hit match

In the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup, New Zealand cruised to a nine-wicket win over Bangladesh in a rain-affected match today.
