Women's Cricket: Australia beat India by eight wickets in 1st ODI

In Cricket, Australia women defeated India by 8 wickets in the first One-Day International of the three-match series in Vadodara.  Batting first, India set a victory target of 201 runs. The visitors achieved the target losing only 2 wickets.  Nicole Boltan who scored a 100 was declared player of the match.   The series is a part of the ICC Women's Championship in which India had earlier defeated South Africa.
