US major indices rallied more than one and half a percent on hopes that Fed reached end of interest rate hiking campaign

The three US major indices rallied more than one and half a percent yesterday on hopes that the U.S. Federal Reserve has reached the end of its interest rate hiking campaign and a batch of upbeat quarterly financial updates added to the bullish mood.   The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.7 percent. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite index, both climbed around 1.8 percent each.
