India to take on Bangladesh in U-19 Cricket World Cup final

In Under-19 Cricket World Cup final, defending champions India will take on Bangladesh on Sunday at Potchefstroom in South Africa. The final was set up after Bangladesh registered a comprehensive six-wicket victory over New Zealand in the 2nd semifinal yesterday. This is the first time Bangladesh has reached the final of the Under-19 World Cup. In the 1st semi-final on Tuesday, four times champion India thrashed arch-rivals Pakistan by 10 wickets.

Defending champions India beat debutant Japan in ICC Under-19 World Cup

In cricket, India  won the  Group A ICC Under-19 World Cup Cricket match against Japan by 10 wickets at Bloemfontein, South Africa today. Put into bat, Japan were all out for paltry 41 runs. As many as 5 Japanese batsmen were out without any score. S.Noguchi and K.K.Dobell top scored for Japan sharing 7 runs each. For India, Ravi Bishnoi claimed 4 wickets and Kartik Tyagi  3.
