Today is Statistics Day
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Statistics Day is being organized virtually at NITI Aayog in New Delhi. June 29 is celebrated as Statistics Day at the national level on the birth anniversary of Late Prof. P C Mahalanobis, in recognition of his invaluable contribution in establishing the National Statistical System.
