The fourth Asian Para Games officially commenced in Hangzhou, China, today. It will go on till October 28.  The Indian contingent at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China comprises of 303 sportspersons across 17 sporting disciplines. A total of 143 coaches, escorts, officials and support staff are also part of the contingent. India on Wednesday (13 September 2023) received the first C-295 MW transport aircraft. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhari attended the formal handing over ceremony of the first C-295 MW transport aircraft at Seville in Spain.
