Gold price up Rs 290 to trade at Rs 58,230 per ten grams

Today, Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was up 290 rupees to trade at 58,230 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts also rose 525 rupees to trade at 69,955 rupees per kilo when reports last came in. In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,895 dollars and 70 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up to trading at 22 dollars and 32 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
