BCCI announces Rs 125 Cr prize money for Team India after T20 World Cup win

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 125 crore rupees prize money for Team India on winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados yesterday. In a social media post, BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced the prize money and congratulated the men in blue to win the tournament unbeaten. The BCCI Secretary also lauded the team’s strong work ethic.

ICC World Cup: BCCI officially unveils India's away jersey

India's away kit for ICC Cricket World Cup was unveiled by BCCI today.   Virat Kohli's men will be sporting the jersey for their big-ticket World Cup match against England in Birmingham on Sunday.  The match will begin at 3 p.m. IST.   As both England and India don blue colour jerseys, they are to wear their away kits as per ICC regulations.

Team India, Virat Kohli maintain top position in ICC Test rankings

Skipper Virat Kohli and Indian cricket team both maintained their top positions in the latest ICC Test rankings published yesterday. India defeated the eighth-ranked West Indies and have 116 points in their kitty, 10 more than second-placed South Africa. Kohli, with 935 points, is 25 clear of currently suspended Steve Smith (910 points). Cheteshwar Pujara is sixth with 765 points.
