Sports Ministry approves six centres as Khelo India Centre of Excellence

The Sports Ministry has approved six centres as the Khelo India Centre of Excellence. The Ministry has also sanctioned over 67 crore rupees in the current financial year to upgrade these six centres.  The Sports Ministry has said that the financial support will be extended for the next four subsequent years in an effort to identify and groom Olympic level talent in the country.
