Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has congratulated the women's hockey team on winning Asian Champions Trophy. In a social media post, Mr Thakur said, a historic moment for Bharatiya women's hockey as they dethroned Japan and are now the Asian Champions Trophy winners. He said, the final in Ranchi was pure brilliance, with a 4-0 victory over the two-time champions. The Minister said, our women's team is on fire and the nation so proud of their achievement.
