Indian shuttlers Sourabh Verma and Sai Uttejitha Rao Chukka entered the men's and women's singles main draw of the Thailand Open badminton tournament in Bangkok today.  Sourabh first beat Kantawat Leelavechabutr of Thailand and then defeated Zhou Ze Qi of China in his second match of the qualification round to advance to the men's singles main draw. Prannoy, Sourabh to face each other in US Open quarterfinals

In the US Open badminton tournament, HS Prannoy and Sourabh Verma set up an all-Indian clash against each other in the men's singles quarterfinals.  Prannoy, seeded second, fought for exactly an hour to quell the challenge of Korean Kwang Hee Heo 21-16, 18-21, 21-16 in the second round last night.
