Asian stock markets end mixed, Singapore's Straits Times index adds 0.1 percent

Asian stock markets ended mixed today ahead of a US economic update this week that is expected to show growth slowing. Most stocks moved in a flat-to-low range. Japan's Nikkei-225 and Singapore's Straits Times index added 0.1 percent each.
