US Market: S&P 500 gains half a percent, Dow Jones Industrial Average declines 0.1 %

In US market, the Nasdaq rose over one percent yesterday to its highest intra-day level in more than eight months. Similarly, the S&P 500 gained half a percent. But, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.1 percent.
