Sensex today jumped over 200 points to record a new high of 37,805 in early trade. Nifty also breached the 11,400 mark. The sensex was trading 181 points up to 37,737, a short while ago. Nifty was also trading 40 points in green to 11,401.

Domestic stocks today bounced back to close with more than one per cent gain recovering losses of last two sessions. Amid mixed global markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 391 points to settle at 37,556. Nifty at National Stock Exchange also jumped up 116 points to close at 11,361.

Domestic stocks, extending the last week's record-breaking rally, today rose for seventh straight session to new lifetime highs. Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange and Nifty at National Stock Exchange jumped up even as all major Asian and European share markets logged losses. Sensex gained 158 points to 37,494 while Nifty was up 41 points at 11,320. Both stocks gained around 0.4 per cent.

Domestic stocks today closed with fresh lifetime highs. Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange and Nifty at National Stock Exchange jumped up around one per cent. Sensex Climbed 352 points to end at 37,337 while Nifty surged 111 points to settle at 11,278. The rupee today remained almost flat as it appreciated one paise to close at 68 rupees 65 paise against the US dollar.

At the stock markets, extending yesterday's rally, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange surged by over 100 points in late morning trade today. The 30-share index was trading 101 points up at 36,621 when reports last came in. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose by 39 points to 11,047. At the foreign exchange market, the rupee appreciated by 12 paise to 68 rupees 33 paise against the US dollar in opening trade.

Domestic Stock markets are volatile amid weak global cues. Investors were cautious ahead of a deadline when tariffs from the US and China are due to be enforced. The BSE Sensex, lost 26 points at 35,619. The Nifty slipped just nine points at 10,761 in the late afternoon trade. The rupee at forex market slipped 8 paise and was trading at 68 rupees 82 paise against US dollar a short-while ago.

At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading more than 200 points up during noon trade today. The 30-share index, was trading 217 points in the green at 35,504, when reports last came in. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange was trading 41 points up at 10,750. At the foreign exchange market, the rupee recovered from its near one-month low this morning to trade 32 paise higher at 68 rupees six paise against the US dollar.

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange extended its gains today and was up by over 150 points at 35,639, in late morning deals. The Nifty was also trading 42 points in the green at 10,829. In the opening session, the Sensex rose by over 84 points, while the Nifty reclaimed the 10,800-mark.

At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange lost 150 points, or 0.4 percent, to trade at 35,313, in afternoon session, a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 39 points, or 0.4 percent, to 10,730. At the forex market, the rupee plummeted 44 paise, to 67.56 against the dollar, in early deals.

BSE Sensex and Nifty open on a flat note ahead of RBI policy meet outcome. The BSE Sensex opened 51.86 points or 0.15% up at 34955. Nifty was also up 13 points or 0.12% at 10606 in the early trade today. At the foreign exchange market, the rupee strengthened by 11 paise to 67 rupees 3 paise against the dollar in early trade.
