Sensex closes 25 points down at 31,098

Domestic equity benchmarks today remained almost flat amid absence of Asian share market cues. Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange closed 25 points down at 31,098. Similarly, the Nifty at National Stock Exchange fell six points to settle at 9,137.
