Indian shuttlers H. S. Denmark Open: PV Sindhu, Sameer Verma, Sai Praneeth knocked out

Indian challenge in the singles event of the Denmark Open Badminton Tournament at Odense came to an end today. In women's singles, World champion P V Sindhu crashed out of the tournament after losing to Korea's An Se-Young. Sindhu lost the tie in straight games 21-14,21-17. Sameer Verma enters final of Hyderabad Open badminton

Top seed Sameer Verma entered the final of the men's singles event at the Hyderabad Open Badminton tournament today.  Verma scored a fighting three-game win over compatriot RMV Gurusaitdutt in the semifinal.    Verma had to sweat it out for 51 minutes to get the better of unseeded Gurusaidutt 16-21, 21-15, 21-11. Sameer Verma enters semifinals of Orleans Open

At the Palais des sports which is an indoor sports complex in the city of Orleans, the Indian recorded a hard-fought win over local hope Lucas Corvee in three games 17-21, 21-19, 21-15.  The match lasted an hour and eight minutes.
