Indian challenge in the singles event of the Denmark Open Badminton Tournament at Odense came to an end today. Sameer Verma enters final of Hyderabad Open badminton

Top seed Sameer Verma entered the final of the men's singles event at the Hyderabad Open Badminton tournament today.  Verma scored a fighting three-game win over compatriot RMV Gurusaitdutt in the semifinal.    Verma had to sweat it out for 51 minutes to get the better of unseeded Gurusaidutt 16-21, 21-15, 21-11. At the Palais des sports which is an indoor sports complex in the city of Orleans, the Indian recorded a hard-fought win over local hope Lucas Corvee in three games 17-21, 21-19, 21-15.  The match lasted an hour and eight minutes.
