Maldives lift SAFF cup, defeat India 2-1 in Dhaka

Maldives have lifted the 2018 South Asian Football Federation Cup.  In the final at the Bangabandhu Stadium in Dhaka today, they defeated defending champions India 2-1. At half-time, the winners led One-nil.  The win for Maldives comes 10 years after their first SAFF Cup title in 2008. India to take on Bangladesh in final of SAFF U-15 Women's C'ship

India will take on Bangladesh in the final of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-15 Women's Championship on Saturday.  In the first semifinal, at Thimpu, Bhutan, today, India defeated Nepal 2-1.  For India, Lynda Kom and Kritina scored one goal each.
