Rupee weakens seven paise to Rs 72.55 against US dollar

The rupee today weakened seven paise to 72 rupees and 55 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, also depreciated 0.13 percent to 91.72.
