Rupee appreciates 1 paise to Rs 72.52 against US dollar

The rupee on Friday appreciated marginally by one paise to 72 rupees and 52 paise against the US dollar.    The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, also rose 0.01 percent to 91.87.
