Remaining rounds of 2020 UAE World Tour Cycle race get cancelled as 2 Italian participants test positive for coronavirus

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has cancelled the remaining rounds of the 2020 UAE Tour after two Italian participants were tested positive for the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19.  The decision has been taken to ensure the protection of all the Race's participants, said the Council, adding that safety comes at the top of all priorities. This is the only World Tour Cycle race held in West Asia. The competition had started on the 23rd of this month and was to conclude today.
