India's apple exports have risen exponentially by 82 percent since 2014: Piyush Goyal

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has said that India's apple exports have risen exponentially by 82 percent since 2014. In a tweet, Mr Goyal said that an increase in exports of the fruit is helping the apple growers from States like Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. He said, the government is committed to doubling farmers' income and strengthening exports.
